ABOUT US

Haus Bisang was built in 1950 by Walter and Bertha Bisang and is currently run by the third generation. Our guests have access to four bright and cozy holiday apartments.

All our holiday apartments feature fully equipped, modern kitchens and new bathrooms. A dishwasher (except Apartment S) and an espresso machine are included in the kitchen inventory, as are a raclette oven and a fondue pot. Naturally, all apartments have Wi-Fi and a TV. A baby travel cot and a high chair can be provided. To ensure your four-legged family member feels at home with us, all apartments include a dog bed, food bowls, and a small toy.

The location on the Maranerhang slope guarantees not only breathtaking views of Lake Obersee and the surrounding mountains, but also sunshine from early morning until late at night. All apartments have a balcony with a lake view, making it a perfect place to relax year-round.

We look forward to welcoming you!

THE LOCATION

Haus Bisang is located on Rainweg, just a few minutes' walk from the Seehalde bus station: Location on Google Maps .

The quiet residential street leads in just a few steps to the Eichhörnliweg trail, a starting point for many beautiful walks in the surrounding area. The mid-station and thus also the Bärenland (Bear Sanctuary) are just over an hour's walk away. The Maran dairy, the golf course, and the cross-country ski trails can be reached in 20 minutes, and the Prätschli mountain with its toboggan run and honey farm is a 30-minute walk away. Arosa train station is a 15-minute walk away, and a bridge leads directly to the valley station of the Weisshornbahn cable car. The village of Arosa, with its numerous shops, bars, and restaurants, is also within easy walking distance.

Of course, all these places can also be easily reached by free bus from Seehalde.

Alternatively, local taxis and horse-drawn carriages are available. In winter, the ski slope runs just a few meters past Haus Bisang, and in summer, this route serves as a starting point for many exciting mountain hikes.

AROSA IN WINTER

The winter season, and thus the official ski season, begins in December. Everyone from beginners to pros can have fun on the more than 225 kilometers of slopes in the Arosa-Lenzerheide snow sports area. Other attractions include the steepest World Cup downhill run, a high-speed track, and the Arosa-Lenzerheide Snow Park. Meanwhile, younger guests can enjoy the Prätschli honey in the Honeyland. The ski area's many winter hiking trails allow walkers and winter sports enthusiasts to meet up along the way or in one of the numerous mountain restaurants. For those who've had enough of alpine skiing but want to stay on the slopes, there are 25 kilometers of classic cross-country ski trails and 19 kilometers of skating trails. Away from the slopes, there's a wide range of winter sports on offer, from sledding to ice skating, snowshoeing, winter hiking, and paragliding. Après-ski and culinary highlights are available both in the many restaurants on the mountain and in the village itself. If you don't want to cook for yourself in the evening and would rather treat yourself to a meal out, we strongly recommend making an early reservation.
